It has been way to long, since my last newsletter! We have had a very busy spring and summer! We xeroscaped our front yard, and I might say, “is it ever beautiful”. We did part of it ourselves and hired a friend in the landscaping business, to do the hauling, rock and wood chip work. We used multi colors of stone and chips. Then just recently had all of our trees trimmed.
Our mail lady has a new sidewalk to walk across in front of our house. Then we extended it around to the property line, to accent and highlight the rose planter that we built in 2010. Our roses this year were just beautiful. However it took the third set of roses planted in it, before they would all grow and bloom.
We have also sold flags at three different weekly Farmers Markets, during the summer. It was no huge success, but we did introduce ourselves and our flags to a lot of new people. The weather did not always cooperate and we had some very cold days, out in that weather.
Now we are into the Holiday season, full swing! I have been singing with our bell choir entertaining the troops, as well as with a new worship team, at our church, and enjoying every minute of it.
We have had a total of 9.5” of snow this week, so we will have a white Christmas this year. I was able to use my new snow blower twice this week. It was a Christmas present two years ago, from my lovely wife, along with Santa’s help. I think I have only had a chance to use it, a total five times, during the two previous years.

Pray for the election in 2012!
We must get rid of Obama, Pelosie and Reed!
Pray also for this great Nation! We must get God back
on our side and turn this mess around!
This has been going on way too long and maybe, even beyond repair!
We most vote every one of these long time, blood suckers, out of office!
We must insist on term limits.
We must get our country back to where it is being ran,
following the way our constitution was written, instead of politicians
trying to circumvent it,
every chance that they get!
We must get our nation back to “for the people and by the people, as sit is written in the Constitution!
Pray! Pray! Pray!

Santa lives at the North Pole.
JESUS is everywhere.

JESUS is an ever present help.
Santa fills your stockings with goodies
JESUS supplies all your needs.
Santa comes down your chimney uninvited
JESUS stands at your door and knocks.. and then enters your heart.
You have to stand in line to see Santa
JESUS is as close as the mention of His name.
Santa lets you sit on his lap
JESUS lets you rest in His arms.
Santa doesn't know your name, all he can say is "Hi little boy or girl,
What's your name?"
JESUS knew our name before we did. Not only does He know
our name, He knows our address too.
He knows our history and future and He
even knows how many hairs are on our heads.
Santa has a belly like a bowl full of jelly
JESUS has a heart full of love.
All Santa can offer is HO HO HO
JESUS offers health, help and hope.
Santa says "You better not cry"
JESUS says "Cast all your cares on me for I care for you.
Santa's little helpers make toys
JESUS makes new life, mends wounded hearts, repairs broken homes
and builds mansions.
Santa may make you chuckle but
JESUS gives you joy that is your strength.
While Santa puts gifts under your tree
JESUS became our gift and died on the tree.
It's obvious there is really no comparison.
We need to remember WHO Christmas is all about.
We need to put Christ back in Christmas.
Jesus is still the reason for the season.
May the Lord Bless and Watch over you and
your loved ones this Christmas 2011
And may He prosper and bless the work of
your hands in the New Year.
